People tend to visualize Gothic kind of like... well, Romanesque. However, in reality, it is the exact opposite. 
Absolutely wonderful. I'd really forgotten how much I like actual goth.

A Gothic Cathedral!
You know how earlier, we visited an extremely Romanesque Cathedral? Despite it's being made in the 1940s, imitated the Romanesque style of the 10-11th century: dark, cool, and an emphasis on the end of the world. However, on the same visit as the one to the Egyptian temple, we got to see a Gothic Cathedral!
